Resting atop a secluded parcel of land with splendid canyon and mountain views, the cedar-shingled house, listed for $8.195 million, was built in 1982. Included are five bedrooms and 5.5 bathrooms spread across 5,300 sq ft of living space. There are three full floors, all of them replete with shabby chic-style interiors; dark-stained Douglas fir hardwood floors and whitewashed beamed ceilings provide contrast. Street-parked guests must bypass the gated driveway and brick motor court to reach the house, which welcomes with a double-height foyer connected to a massive living room. A fireplace and wall of glass doors leads to a wraparound terrace.
