Al checkpoint di Medika il traffico è bloccato da circa 100 persone e 50 trattori. I manifestanti hanno annunciato che faranno passare un camion, un autobus e un'autovettura ogni ora. In queste ore la protesta ha raggiunto anche il cuore dell’Italia, con i trattori che hanno sfilato davanti al Colosseo

I MOTIVI DELLA PROTESTA

Un altro motivo di protesta si ritrova anche nell’import di prodotti low cost, come ad esempio il pollo ucraino. Poi ancora le misure ecologiste nazionali, come il piano per la riduzione dell'azoto prodotto dagli allevamenti in Olanda, o le tasse sui carburanti più inquinanti in Germania e Francia

Gli agricoltori si lamentano per le politiche comunitarie, a partire dai fondi per rinnovare la Politica Agricola Comune (PAC). Le misure prevedono l’obbligo di destinare almeno il 4% dei terreni coltivabili a funzioni non produttive e l’obbligo di effettuare rotazioni delle colture e di ridurre l’uso di fertilizzanti di almeno il 20%
