L’ala degli Orlando Magic, prima della partita contro i Brooklyn Nets, ha scelto di non inginocchiarsi e di non indossare la maglietta con la scritta “Black Lives Matter”. Così, mentre compagni e avversari si sono abbassati, lui è rimasto in piedi. A fine gara, dopo la vittoria della sua squadra, ha spiegato: “Ci ho pensato molto e credo che inginocchiarsi e indossare una maglietta non servano a supportare la causa”
