LE AREE COINVOLTE

Si tratta della Repubblica popolare di Tuva, del circondario autonomo del Nenec, abitato dall’omonima minoranza etnica, e della provincia della Cukotka, soggetto della Federazione russa con il minore reddito pro capite. Queste aree hanno in comune l’estrema povertà, l’isolamento e la scarsa densità abitativa. Oltre a queste zone, va considerata anche la Repubblica di Buriazia, i cui militari divennero "famosi" all’inizio del conflitto per il massacro compiuto nella città di Bucha

I NUMERI NELLE CITTA'

Discorso molto diverso per le grandi città. A San Pietroburgo (nella foto il porto della città) la mortalità militare è dello 0,7% ogni centomila persone mentre stime di poco superiori riguardano Kazan e Niznij Novgorod, nella ricca e popolosa Russia centrale, dove il Cremlino non vuole avere problemi almeno fino alle elezioni presidenziali del prossimo 18 marzo

Quest'ultime, secondo stime non ufficiali riportate dal Corriere, avrebbero superato almeno le 120.000 unità
