Salgono ad almeno 13 le vittime del maltempo nel sud del Brasile. Una bambina di 4 anni è stata trovata viva dopo 16 ore sotto le macerie. Interi centri abitati senza luce e gas. Il governo ha dichiarato lo lo stato di emergenza

UNA FAMIGLIA SOTTO LE MACERIE

A Petropolis quattro componenti della stessa famiglia (una coppia con il loro figlio di nove anni e la nonna di quest'ultimo) sono rimasti sotterrati tra le macerie della loro casa. Inutili i soccorsi della protezione civile

L'altra figlia della coppia di 4 anni è invece stata estratta viva dopo 16 ore dai cani da soccorso. A salvarla è stato il padre, che secondo le testimonianze avrebbe fatto scudo con il suo corpo

Altre quattro vittime si sono registrate nello Stato confinante di Espirito Santo, precisamente nella frazione di Mimoso do Sul. Il governo locale ha nel frattempo annunciato che dichiarerà lo stato di emergenza. Nella zona si contano anche 1.200 persone rimaste senza casa e sette dispersi
