Francia, crolla condominio di 4 piani in centro a Marsiglia

E' di almeno cinque feriti il bilancio del crollo di un condominio di quattro piani nel centro di Marsiglia. Sarebbero otto invece le persone che risultano ancora disperse. Lo ha annunciato il procuratore della città francese, Dominique Laurens. I soccorsi sono ostacolati da un incendio scoppiato in seguito al crollo, avvenuto in rue de Tivoli dopo la mezzanotte. Due edifici adiacenti sono stati danneggiati ed evacuati

Un condominio di quattro piani è crollato nella notte nel centro di Marsiglia e un incendio ha ostacolato i soccorsi. Lo ha reso noto il sindaco della seconda città francese, Benoît Payan che ha sottolineato: "Dobbiamo essere preparati ad avere vittime in questa terribile tragedia"

"Abbiamo un centinaio di uomini in azione: la priorità è ovviamente spegnere l'incendio e sgomberare le macerie per cercare le persone che potrebbero essere rimaste intrappolate", ha detto il viceammiraglio dei pompieri Lionel Matthew

"La causa del crollo non è ancora determinata", hanno subito detto polizia, vigili del fuoco e funzionari del municipio. Anche la procura di Marsiglia ha fatto sapere che ancora è "impossibile indicare le cause" dell'esplosione. Gli edifici adiacenti a quello venuto già sono stati evacuati, come misura di sicurezza

"È stata come un'enorme esplosione", ha detto un testimone. "Ci sono forti sospetti che un'esplosione abbia causato il crollo", ha detto il prefetto della regione Bouches alla France-Presse e non si esclude che all'origine vi possa essere una fuga di gas

"Undici persone sono state evacuate: due sono in relativa emergenza, mentre altre nove tra cui due bambini sono illese", ha detto il sindaco di Marsiglia. Le strade intorno all'edificio, nel quartiere di La Plaine, sono transennate dalle forze di sicurezza

Il ministro dell'Interno francese, Gerald Darmanin, si recherà in mattinata a Marsiglia. Lo riporta Bfmtv, secondo cui il ministro è atteso intorno alle 10:45 al posto di comando, allestito dopo il crollo
