Intanto, in città restano ancora intrappolati migliaia di civili. Oltre 500 persone si troverebbero nella fabbrica di Azot, compresi 40 bambini. Diversa la versione russa: nella zona industriale e nell'impianto sono asserragliati "300-400 nazionalisti, di Pravi Sektor e del battaglione Azov, che tengono in ostaggio centinaia di civili"

E i russi continuano ad inviare altri battaglioni tattici nella direzione di Severodonetsk. Stanno inoltre cercando di sfondare a Slavyansk, colpendo il piu' possibile con l'artiglieria
