"Su questa fiaccola bisogna costruire un'Italia migliore", ha commentato Luca Pancalli, presidente del Comitato Paralimpico Italiano. "Nel nostro Paese ci sono 3 milioni di disabili, togliendo gli anziani abbiamo più di un milione di ragazzi da intercettare. Tutto quello che abbiamo fatto a Tokyo, spero aiuti a tenere alti i riflettori sui percorsi di politica sportiva e sociale necessari per fare in modo che la nostra delegazione non sarà di 113 atleti, ma magari di 300 o 350"
