Sono passati due giorni dall'inizio delle celebrazioni per la festa di San Firmino a Pamplona e si sono già registrati 10 feriti nella tradizionale corsa dei tori. L'Encierro, l'evento in cui le persone corrono nella pericolosa galoppata, si svolge ogni mattina dal 7 luglio fino al 14 luglio

Stando a quanto riferiscono fonti mediche, una persona è stata colpita superficialmente da una cornata, mentre le altre nove presentano ferite al viso o agli arti a causa di cadute o dopo essere state calpestate dalla folla

Gli Encierros hanno luogo ogni mattina alle 8 e si prolungano per 8 giorni e 12 ore. I tori vengono liberati dal loro recinto e iniziano la corsa partendo da Calle Santo Domingo fino all’arena delle corride, la famosa Plaza de Toros

Il tragitto è lungo circa 850 metri e, in genere, dura meno di cinque minuti. La pericolosa galoppata prosegue per i vicoli della città, tra Plaza de Consistorial, via Mercaderes fino al tratto rettilineo di Telefonica che conduce alla strettoia per Plaza de Toros
