Joe Biden ha raggiunto e superato la soglia dei 270 grandi elettori, necessari per conquistare la Casa Bianca. È quindi formalmente il 46esimo presidente eletto degli Usa. Lo spoglio delle schede valide per le elezioni presidenziali 2020 però non è ancora concluso e la battaglia elettorale tra Trump e Biden non è finita. L'attuale presidente Usa ha infatti dichiarato che chiederà ufficialmente il riconteggio in alcuni Stati dove il margine tra i due è molto basso
