I Makeskin candidati agli MTV Video Music Awards 2023. Tutte le nomination

Honey (are u coming?) arriverà “presto”

Giornata rovente per i fan dei Maneskin in tutto il mondo con due aggiornamenti che arrivano nel bel mezzo dell'estate ma che certamente segneranno l'autunno della band italiana.
Un nuovo singolo e una nuova apparizione sono già in agenda per le prossime settimane ma mentre è già nota la data della notte in cui saranno assegnati gli MTV Video Music Awards 2023 (il 12 settembre al Prudential Center di Newark, nel New Jersey), nulla si sa dell'uscita del nuovo brano che arriverà “presto”. Le uniche informazioni sul singolo sono contenute in un brevissimo teaser che anticipa la melodia e il titolo: Honey (are u coming?) sarà un nuovo pezzo rock in pieno stile Maneskin, con i colpi di batteria e la voce di Damiano David in primo piano. L'attesa è infuocata, come le immagini nella clip che suggeriscono un cuore in fiamme.

La nomination per The Loneliest

The Loneliest, la ballad che ha anticipato di alcuni mesi l'uscita dell'album Rush!, continua a raccogliere consensi. È, infatti, il brano più cupo del terzo album in studio dei Maneskin a portare la band romana al centro della scena rock mondiale ai prossimi Mtv Video Music Awards 2023.
Insieme ai Maneskin nella categoria, Best Rock la sfida è tra mostri sacri del genere.
In nomination per il premio ci sono: i Foo Fighters con The Teacher, i Linkin Park con Lost, i leggendari Metallica con Lux Æterna, i Muse con You Make Me Feel Like It's Halloween ed infine i Red Hot Chili Peppers con Tippa My Tongue.
Come ben sapranno i fan dei Maneskin, la band è stata protagonista dell'edizione 2022 della competizione vincendo il Best Alternative, il premio per il miglior video alternativo per la canzone I Wanna Be Your Slave, riconoscimento che prima di allora non era mai stato assegnato ad un artista/band proveniente dall'Italia. Anche in quell'occasione i pretendenti al premio erano di grosso calibro, tra essi c'erano Machine Gun Kelly, Avril Lavigne e gli Imagine Dragons.

MTV ha svelato le nomination delle categorie dei Video Music Awards 2023 che saranno assegnati nella notte tra il 12 e il 13 settembre. Taylor Swift guida l'elenco degli artisti più nominati con otto candidature, segue SZA con sei nomination.
