Secco il quesito sulla scheda: "Sei favorevole al divieto delle coperture totali del viso?" . Non menziona dunque esplicitamente il burqa o il niqab, che lascia gli occhi scoperti

Per passare, l'iniziativa aveva bisogno del sostegno della maggioranza dei voti a livello nazionale e dalla maggioranza del 26 cantoni svizzeri, sei dei quali rappresentano la metà degli elettori. Trattandosi di una modifica costituzionale infatti per essere approvata l'iniziativa popolare deve ottenere la doppia maggioranza del popolo e dei cantoni
