La seconda stagione di Fargo - La serie andrà in onda negli U.S.A. invaderà le case dei seriofili statunitensi a ottobre, per poi arrivare in inverno anche su Sky Atlantic. Si tratterà di una sorta di prequel della prima stagione, e sarà ambientata nel 1979.
Al centro della storia troveremo niente meno che un giovane Lou Solverson (il padre di Molly, che nella prima stagione è stato interpretato da Keith Carradine), che avrà il volto di Patrick Wilson. Oltre a lui, tra i nomi confermati del cast ci sono Ted Danson, Jean Smart, Kirsten Dunst e Jesse Plemon. Anche il secondo capitolo di Fargo - La serie sarà composto da 10 episodi.
